GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT APPLICATION

1) Who Can Apply?

Turkish citizens who are graduated from associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees from the abroad universities,

Foreign nationals who are graduated from associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees from the abroad universities.

ATTENTION!

Foreign nationals who want to apply for a postgraduate degree in the Turkish universities, the document issued by the Council of Higher Education, “HE Institution Recognition Certificate", is enough for registration to the university, except for health programs.

2) Service Fees

• 150 TRY for Diploma Equivalence Certificate
• 150 TRY for Graduation Recognition Certificate
• 150 TRY for re-assessment
• 50 TRY for HE Institution Recognition Certificate
• 50 TRY for Process in Progress Document
• 50 TRY for the Other Petitions​​

NOTE! The petitions for submission of requested documents by the CoHE are not charged.​

3) Equivalence Process

a. Online application,

b. Submitting original documents to the CoHE on the appointment date by the applicant or the legal representative,

c. Confirmation process and activation the application,

d. Assessment of the qualification,

e. Final decision.​

4) Processing Time

Processing time is changeable according to examinations of Science Field Advisory Commission and necessary correspondences for evaluation.

5) Document Delivery

The Equivalence Certificate is delivered only to the applicant or his/her legal representative.
