Regarding the candidates graduated from higher education institutions abroad and who are decided to issue a Diploma Equivalence Certificate if they are successful in the field of Educational Sciences in the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) held by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center;

As a result of the regulations for candidates to be employed as teachers with the Teaching Profession Law No. 7528 dated October 10, 2024, KPSS Educational Sciences Examination was abolished and replaced by the Ministry of National Education Academy Entrance Examination.

Consequently, Council of Higher Education approved that within the scope of diploma equivalence, OSYM conducts a Level Determination Exam in the field of Teacher Professional Knowledge as an equivalent to the KPSS Educational Sciences Exam in the field of Teaching; and candidates who were previously decided by our Board to be successful in the field of KPSS Educational Sciences and who have not yet been successful in the relevant exam are required to take this exam.

Since the Placement Examination in the field of Teaching Profession will be applied only within the scope of equivalence procedures, it is recommended that candidates who want to be employed as teachers also follow the issues regarding the said Academy Entrance Exam through the relevant channels.
